Daniel is a Registered Massage Therapist and former Team Canada 400m hurdler based in downtown Toronto. He specializes in sports massage, deep tissue therapy, and injury rehabilitation for active adults, desk workers, and competitive athletes.
Daniel currently serves as Team Massage Therapist for the Toronto Swim Club and the University of Toronto Track Club, and has provided competition and game-day treatment for Swim Ontario, Tennis Canada, and professional football athletes with the Toronto Argonauts. He has worked across multi-day international competition, in-season professional sport, and collaborative care within interdisciplinary sports medicine teams.
His approach is informed by over a decade as an elite athlete. Daniel earned two gold medals at the 2013 Canada Summer Games and represented Canada at the 2010 IAAF World Junior Championships. Having recovered from ACL reconstruction, meniscus tears, and rotator cuff injuries during his competitive career, he brings firsthand understanding of what it takes to come back from injury and stay performing.
Daniel graduated from Sutherland-Chan and holds additional training in medical acupuncture (McMaster), fascial stretch therapy, closed-chain lower-limb biomechanics, and joint mobilizations. He also draws on a background in Qi Gong and breathwork to support recovery and stress management.
